Every Tin Roof Cutting Board is unique and are not stained. They are only sealed, sanded and moisturizer to enhance each boards natural colors. They specialize in 
Pecan wood, but also use Maple, Walnut, Mesquite, Oak, Padauk, Purpleheart, and Teak to name a few. I own the Teak long grain board and it is amazing! It is very well made and I can see it lasting a very long time. I am going to make sure I get some of their mineral oil to help protect and preserve my board. They also make boards using end grain, which is the very best you can buy.
