Kobo Touch

koboOne of my favorite activities is reading. I could get lost in a book for days. I have actually had to ground myself from reading at times, because I wouldn’t get anything done I needed to. I haven’t been able to start a large series for a while now. I have accumulated so many books and they just sit there, take up space, and collect dust after I read them. I even have had to pack some books away in boxes. I won’t be having that problem anymore, now that I have a Kobo Touch! At first I was against electronic readers and figured I wouldn’t like them much. I loved reading a real book. But the Kobo Touch feels like a book, but is much lighter and easier to take everywhere with you. Plus it is easier to keep you place and turn pages than a real book. I love being able to highlight text and make notes that I can refer to later, or even show other people. One of my favorite things about the Kobo Touch is when I really want that new book, I don’t have to drive all the way to the store to get it, I can just order it from the Kobo Bookstore and I have it nearly instantly!

  1. I would probably pick the Lilac Kobo-Touch. It will definitely hold more books than I will ever be able to finish reading. Would be nice to store cook books on also.

  2. I like the fact that it comes in more than one color (black), but not too sure I would trade my Kindle for it. I would love to do a side by side test to see which I would really prefer!

  3. This looks like a great and inexpensive reader. My Mom wants a reader and I am going to look inti this one for her.

  4. Glad to know about the Kobo Touch. This would be so much easier than downloading on my computer. I have bookmarked this page to share with others. Thanks for all the great information about it.

  5. It would be so nice to have one of these readers.I also have books everywhere in bookshelves, packed in boxes, and cramed under my bed. This would be very handy to take wherever I go.
